"noise filter" to improve quality

hi ho ;)


on an other forum i ve read that it should improve quality when u activate the noise filter (little noise exactly)
as i understood in ANY case.

well i thought noise is kinda "snow flakes" in the pics...:confused:

so am i right?
is the author of this guide right as well?
did anybody do some tests?
