Codec Question

Ok,
So i have used Auto GK and have produced a .avi video on my comupter encoded with DivX. My only question is if say I wanted better quality, are their any newer codecs that are used to achieve this, (other than XviD). I can see how Xvid and DivX run are thier any others.

x.264 is likely to provide better quality at the same filesize, but the difference is most noticeable when the movies are compressed to 1CD in size.

I don't believe AutoGK can use x264 - in any case, if you want better quality there are other programs that can do a better job than AutoGK at the same file size. AutoGK was primarily designed around ease-of-use.
