Question about Media Player Classic? - Expert needed

MPC is the default player for midi files on my computer. When I click on a midi file...instead of opening it...MPC says file not found.
These are the actual files, not links or shortcuts. Its also happening with wmv files and wma files.
When I click on the actual file...MPC says file not found.
What do you think might be the problem?

What if you drag & drop? If that works, try reassociating the files in MPC. Most likely the associations in the registry got mangled, maybe they lost their quotes.

Perfect! I opened MPC under options | player | formats
and I reassociated the midi files and wmas.
It worked!
