Hey all, I have a hd-dvd video which consists of 2 folders, ADV_OBJ and HVDVD_TS. I'd like to convert this to a format that I can play on my TVIX player. I believe the best route is as an IFO or TS but I'm not sure how to make one from these folders. Can anyone point me to a guide or something?
I'm very new to the HD-DVD/Blu-Ray scene so be gentle.. :)
Thanks,
GC

TViX don't play HDDVD folder or iso, but it support MPG, TS or WMV.
First lot of (90%) HD DVD use VC1 for main video stream, so you will need
to remux your EVO on WMV file (VC1 can mux on WMV) or TS (VC1 is ITU/EBU standard).
But there is some little problems:
- All TViX don't support (or support well) VC1 codec (exactly VC1 entrelaced)
you must need TViX M5xxx or M4xxx (last M5100/M4100 have chipset to decode it).
- Muxer VC1 on WMV are not available for public user (from Microsoft tool for VoD provider
like old Club-Internet or from InletHD)
But I think it possible to play VC1 on TS stream but I never try a software which support it...
