Should I be using the latest release of avi synth as I am now still using 2.5.6 with no issues?

Thanks in Advance!

For the least problems, always use the one that comes with DVD Rebuilder.

But remember if there's is already an installed AviSynth version RB setup will not overwrite it.

Avisynth 2.57 should be ok to use. There are some people having issues with sizing but it is a few. Wilbert is trying to find out what may be causing the issue, if anyone is willing to try 2.57 and report any problem... I'm sure he would greatly appreciated any input and help.

I've been using v2.5.7 for a bit now, and not had any problems

Be aware that some filters, if you use them, do fail if you are not using v2.5.7

So if you are using filters and keep getting errors saying there is a filter or function missing try updating to 2.5.7

I've used the function RemoveNoiseMC, which uses quite a few filters and functions within functions, with no problems at all, apart from the very impressive slowness of the script

It crawls along, but gives very impressive results with terrible quality sources, but be warned it is very, very slow, and I'm running an AMD AM2 6000+ overclocked with the MT patch on avisynth

All this means that v2.5.7 is running fine for me, once I had persuded the function to run correctly as it needs quite a few filters and is a bit tricky to get to run via DVD-RB, but once set-up its great
