Hi,
I need en help : I try to work with Auto GK and DivX 6.6, but here is what I get in the block-note: Exception :open avi failed (at the end of the message)
Could you tell me what's wrong ?

...sorry, I'm just curious: on what PC did you run that? I see more than 1 hour to demux vobs and 5 hours to make the comp-test?!

The movie is on an extern HD, and my PC works only with USB1...

...the way you did it (setting output AVI file on external HDD) makes AutoGK put all temp stuff on the same, slow, device. @ that speed, it will take 4 days (!) to complete encoding. try to move the data onto an internal HDD.

...it seems some compatibility problem between AutoGK & DivX. btw, I see the comp-test taken 8 hours to complete!? something is absolutely wrong here... have you tried to encode with XviD?

No, I don't know Xvid. Does this encoding file play in an ordinary player ?

...yes. XviD should play well on all stand-alone players that can read DivX. for maximum compatibility I recommend to enable the "ESS stand-alone support" option in hidden settings of AutoGK (accessible via CTRL+F9).
