Where to download ITU H.263 codec

I have an AVI which GSpot 2.5 beta 8 identifies as having ITU H.263 video.

I have tried a Nov2006 ffdshow with decoding enabled for H.263. Video displays but frames are split and playback is jerky.

Is there anywhere I can download a free version of this codec ?

Try VLC (http://www.videolan.org/vlc/)

Both would be using libavcodec though.
