I use the Big4-method now for over 3 years and I am still very pleased with the handling and the results. I donated and bought VIP-Versions.
But for almost a year, there is no news about develpement of the programs.
I saw NuMenu4U development is canceld.
But what is with the other ones?
Dif4U? Scenaid? BatchCCEWS?
Is there any hope or are they all dead?

chances are slim at this time. Life has taken away most (or all) of the free time of the developers. and ive sorta lost my passion for batchccews... its open source if anyone wants to play with it (although for the most part it needs updating less than the other parts of big-4 ) ive mostly been playing with hd. but who knows.. i wouldnt call the project dead.. just extremely slow :)

scenaid has had minor changes to it internally but most have to be reversed out due to other changes from the supporting apps..
I will probably go back to the latest public version and do some updates, perhaps opensource it.
DIF4U as well has had some internal updates that Eyes only did and some that I did.. none that really were ready for public use though so we never released it.
Numenu is done being developed.. it's gone as far as zeul was willing to take it and probably as far as it could have went..

Thank you for your answers. Unfortunately not the ones I hoped to read. ;)
Maybe soon there will be Dif4U-HD :D

hehe.. yeah.. i was thinking of that.. big 4 for the new millenium. There has to be a by-hand method that can translate to automation. i think purpleman is working on something. i can adapt batchccews for x264 (h264) and hcenc is supported already and it can output mpeg2 HD
