problems with subs with subrip and dvdlab pro

hello,

I got most of my project ready to go in dvdlab pro, but i have a problem which i cannot solve, or find answers to on this forum.

I use subrip to make bitmaps in sst format. First i tried the default settings. Then when i import the sub into dvd lab pro, i have big annoying black bars around the text. No matter what i select (bitmap/vector etc) i still have them. I tried changing the color scheme myself, and set (red) outline to 1 pixel. Still i have big black bars behind the subtitles. I tried various different setting but same problem

does anyone knows this problem and how to solve it? thanks

HEy peeps

I just found the solution for my problem. I just choose a different output format in subrip, then set the colors according to the users manual of dvdlab. Then when subrip is done i choose convert to format (sst) and now the subtitles display absolutlty fine. I thought i post it if anyone else comes accros this problem!
