View Full Version : mplayerc can't play the avs that MeGUI created for me

I just had to reinstall windows. As I recall, the only codec pack I have ever installed is the CCCP (http://www.cccp-project.net/). I loaded-up MeGUI as I always do and created the following AVS which previews fine in MeGUI:

global MeGUI_darx = 16
global MeGUI_dary = 9
DGDecode_mpeg2source("E:\work\R202007.d2v",info=3)
ColorMatrix(hints=true)
tfm(order=1).tdecimate(hybrid=1)
crop( 8, 62, -8, -66)

The odd thing is that I can't get it to play in mplayerc like it always has in the past. I get the following error... anyone have a clue what's missing?

Media Player Classic could not render some of the pins in the graphy, you may hot have the needed codecs or filters installed on the system.

The following pin(s) failed to find a connectable filter:

Nero Resize::Out

Raw video decoding is no longer enabled in current ffdshow/cccp. You can either turn it on in the codecs list, or install xvid.

Also try opening it in the newer AvsP and see if it renders.

I did a fresh windows install 2 months ago, and after installing CCCP I turn on:
- "all supported" raw formats, but only in the VfW panel, not in the DirectShow panel.

- "libavcodec" huffyuv decoding in both panels, but you only need this if you want to do "pre-rendering pass" (in which case, you'll also need to update your mencoder)

You're the boss, dude. That was the problem - thanks!
