I'm using WMCmd.vbs with a WAV source trying to encode to all available -a_setting options. Only the 1411_44_2 and 353_22_1 settings are working. I get an "Invalid Audio Bit Rate" message with 706_22_2 and 706_44_1. The source WAV is a CD rip @ 1411kbps, 44.1kHz, stereo.

Has anyone else ever come across this?

[EDIT]

The documentation is incorrect. Changing the parameter to 705_22_2 or 705_44_1 is acceptable to the encoder.

Interesting. Zambelli's on vacation - could you PM him with this data?

It appears to be a rounding error in the WMCmd.vbs code, but it's very weird - it's working correctly in every other case except this one. The true bitrate is 705600 bps. Obviously, the logical solution would be to truncate 705.6 kbps to 705 kbps. However, the next option down is 352800 bps. If we truncate that one, it becomes 352 kbps - but the correct bitrate is 353 kbps. So clearly truncation is not the right choice. Hmm. I'll have to think about this one.
