Not All PUO's Are Disabled

I typically can't get rid of all PUOs. Usually some, many or most of them go away--just not all them. The Federales Warning typically is the hardest to get rid of.

PUOps exist on 3 levels. In the Title play map table (VMG_PTT_SRPT), in the PGCs and in the VOBs themselves. In order to quickly move past something, you need to disable them on all 3 levels (if they exist).

PgcEdit (http://www.videohelp.com/~r0lZ/pgcedit/index.html) can help with this (you'll need the PUOp plugin). Simply untick Next PG Search (128).

Or you can blank the unwanted bits with VobBlanker (http://jsoto.posunplugged.com/vobblanker.htm).

The Federales Warning typically is the hardest to get rid of.The FBI warning is not a PUO!
To get rid of it, you could use PgcEdit's Kill Playback, or if you want to keep it but be able to skip it with the remote, use Enable All Operations.

OK. I started getting rid of the Federales message with VobBlanker. I don't know how to use PgcEdit. That program is a giant complex mystery.

It's not as hard as it looks. Take your time to discover it, it's a very powerful program.

PgcEdit is the reflect of the complexity of the DVD-Video standard. When you becomes familiar with the structure of a DVD-Video, you will find it easy to use!
