Ok, so let me start by saying I have never authored a DVD before, so I appreciate all the patience.

I have three of my own video files (in .mpg format), they were recorded by me and edited by me in Premiere. I am trying to get them put into a DVD of my own, I have already created the menu and think I have the handle of how the actual program works (I am using GUI for DVD Author).

My problem is when I try to go to the final step and actually Author the DVD it gives me the following error:

ERR: SCR moves backwards, remultiplex input.

I recieved two similar warnings when I input the movie about inconsistent time codes causing chapter errors (which I just wrote off as not important since these videos have no need for chapters).

I also recieved a more obviously related error of:

GFD has not found navigation packets in my files, and that I should use elementary streams or another multiplexor.

I wasn't 100% sure what exactly this was about, like I said, these videos are 2-3 minutes a piece, and I felt chapters were pointless, so I didn't think this was a big deal...

Welcome to the Forum.

Take a look at this thread (http://forum.videohelp.com/topic330958.html) and see if there's anything there for you.

What version of Premiere are you useing? In the newer versions there is an option to author the DVD directly from Premiere.

Cheers!
