problem recoding MPEG to DVD files

not sure where this should go if this isn't the right place for my problem. So anywhay here it is...


Trying to use the new Nero 7 program that USED to be nero vision express, but is now called just nero vision to make an MPEG file into a DVD file, what i'm coming across now is there seems to be no way to get the damn thing to synch it's audio/video. This never used to be a problem, and now of course I cannot go back to 6 since the CODEC's are "no longer valid" ( which is why I was forced to upgrade to 7 in the first place. Anywayone please have any ideas? There is absolutely NO tech support from those NERO to be found and i'm losing my mind tryingo figure out what I have not tried

1) What audio format and frequency and other settings did you use when you created the original MPEG file?

2) What video format did you use when you created the original MPEG file?


**EDIT**This never used to be a problem, and now of course I cannot go back to 6 Despite what you've said, your previous posts indicate that you've encountered the same problem with NERO Vision in version 6:

before it was isolated to 2 mpeg movie files, with this it's widespread across all the mpeg movies that I've got, and I'm not the one who made them, they are fansubs, and i've gone back to ones that I've done previously with nero 6, and re-did them with nero 7 and the problem persists (the audio video synch-ing, that is, and instead of running at 3X speed, with nero 7 it's running at about 3 seconds too slow compared to the audio which is running at normal speed) with those as well, so I don't think it has anything to do with how the files were originally made, it's something to do with nero 7 itself ( I think)
What i'm hoping is that someone, anyone has had this happen or has figured a way around this, or if there's another program that can do the same thing essentially ('cause if I can't find a fix, then i'm getting my money back from Nero.

I've had trouble with Nero Vision (and support) in the past as well, which is why I switched to Ulead. Unfortunately, you'll have to seek help elsewhere, as fansubs aren't kosher here; see rule #6 and the download policy announcement (http://forum.doom9.org/announcement.php?f=6).
