MeGUI "stable" - how to ?

I noticed there is an option to use the "Stable" or "Development" auto-update servers. I have mine set to "Stable" but this wntire /MeGUI dir structure is hosed. When I browse to sourceforge to d/l a fresh copy, (version 1020 is what's up there), the auto updater in that version automatically grabs the development Avisynth plugins, tools, etc.

How can I get the "stable" set of components for MeGUI as well as run the "stable" version of MeGUI?

Nevermind... I just deleted dir structure and most of the files just keeping the settings.xml (which was set to the "stable" server) and the same set of files contained in the MeGUI.NETv2.0_Bins_0.2.4.1020.zip I got from sourceforge. Seems to be happily updating.

...so is this development server default by design or a mistake?
