I tried to convert it with GraphEdit, but the final WAV is not recognised by other programs and players

I have two methods on doing this. They're both pretty simple. Please take your pick. :) I just noticed that your audio says it is 6ch surround sound. I've never seen an RMVB file with surround sound before. If you want to keep the surround sound for your DVD, my methods might not work because the extracted WAV might become stereo (not sure). If so, hopefully someone else can help you with that.

Method #1:
You must first get the free AVISynth (I have version 2.5) and VirtualdubMod (not Virtualdub). Then open Notepad and type this:

DirectShowSource("D:\video.rmvb", fps=29.97, convertfps=true)

Your location of the file must be correct! Then go "Save As", in the box that says "Save as Type" you must select "All Files"! Then type in "filename.avs" minus the quotes. Now right click your filename.avs and open it with Vdubmod. If you did everything correctly, the video file should appear in the window. Go to Streams, Stream List, here it should list an "AVI audio stream 1". Click that once and on the right, click the "Save WAV" button and save your file. It would take about a minute. If you want it to go a little bit faster, uncheck "show input and output video" in the window that pops up. Then click Ok and exit Vdubmod. You can now delete the filename.avs if you want.

Method #2:
If you have TMPGEnc, open it and close the wizard. Go to Option, Environmental Setting, VFAPI plugin. Find "DirectShow Multimedia File Reader" and right-click it and click "Higher Priority". The priority # on the right should now be 1. Click ok and for the video source, click browse to open your RMVB file. If it doesn't work, increase the priority to 2 and try again. After it has opened, go to File, Output to file, WAVE file, and if you want to mess with the audio's settings you can here, then save it. It should take about a minute or more.

If you cannot open the RMVB at priority 2, try it some more times. If it still doesn't work, then make the AVS file in Method #1 and open that AVS file as the video source instead.

@AlexVS

Hi!I have RMVB movie file with audio (RealAudio COOK 44100Hz 6ch - shown in Media Player Classic)Since you state that it's a movie file, I presume you created it from an original, commercial DVD.

If so, just re-rip your original DVD, extract the audiostream (likely .AC3) and use one of the myriad audio editors to convert it to .WAV...

What is the Title and Region of your original DVD?

Try Exact Audio Copy. It is said that EAC is the best audio grabber for extracting audio tracks.
