I ripped a the sound from a dvd and it all came in one file. I was wondering if there's a program where I can just enter the time that each song starts and it will split the track into those parts. Otherwise, what should I use to split up a 6channel flac?

Hello,

You can use BeSplit (http://besplit.doom9.org/) to cut the original dvd soundtrack (ac3 or dts I assume).
I don't think BeSplit can process FLAC, so you'd need to cut the source first before encoding to flac.

...

When encoding the soundtrack of some music dvds to mp3, I used this process:
- extract dts/ac3/lpcm...
- encode the whole track to mp3 with besweet/lame
- cut the resulting mp3 with besplit.

The cut points for BeSplit simply are the celltimes expressed in seconds. (you can easily get them with chapterXtractor or calc 'em from celltimes.txt)

Hi!

Try Total Recorder (pro):

http://www.totalrecorder.com/t6.htm - tutorial

It is capable of processing FLAC files.

What is the Title and Region of your DVD?
