I'm using GK 0.35 from many years ago. My DGIndex version is 1.4.3.Can I install another version DGIndex (example 1.4.9) on another directory, without erase the previous version, and locating the new version (1.4.9) in the program paths tab?

Thank you for your help, and sorry about my english

I believe you can, but you also have to use the matching DGDecode.dll. And old projects will not work because the D2V file format changed.

I've never used GK, though. :)

Yes. But as neuron2 cautions, don't get confused about where each version is located. You must use the version of DGIndex that matches the DGDecode.dll from the same DGMPGDec package.

Yes, first of all thanks. On the directory are located both files, DGIndex.exe and DGdecode.dll.

Newly, thanks for all.

As I said, you have to remake any old projects.

No, I've made the new project. First of all cleaned all the old files and made a new project. On open the new project, just maked, on GKnot, it show me the message "project not valid". Prevˇously, made a new directory, unc0mpressed all the files from de zip file (version 149) located the DGIndex on options, and load all the vob files for make a new project. The d2v file show me the message at open on GKnot.

Sorry for my bad english

Hi-

I don't know. I'm using DGIndex version 1.4.9 also, and GKnot opens the D2V with no problem. In the Program Paths Tab, under "Where is DGIndex.exe located?", you have it pointed to the right DGIndex, and beside the path it says, "v 1.4.9.0"? And you made the D2V from that same DGIndex?

Yes, I did all the same as you say.

Then I don't know. Sorry. But more than one such problem has been solved by uninstalling and then reinstalling GKnot. Probably not what you wanted to hear, though.
