Problem is related to GK, not Xvid. In fact I think it's a FAQ, but since I don't care to use GK anymore I can't remember how to IVTC in it.

Hi-

You set the FPS in DGIndex when making the D2V. If you're making the D2V using Honor Pulldown Flags (29.97fps) all changing it to 23.976fps in GKnot will do is mess it up. If the movie was encoded as progressive 23.976fps, then you set the Field Operation to Force Film in DGIndex, and the D2V will open in GKnot as 23.976fps. If the movie is hard telecined (pretty rare these days, especially for Hollywood movies on DVD), then you set the Field Operation in DGIndex to Honor Pulldown Flags, it'll open in GKnot as 29.97fps, and you apply an IVTC in the Avisynth script to return it to 23.976fps.

The framerate at which the D2V opens in GKnot is a reflection of whether you used Honor Pulldown Flags or Force Film in DGIndex.
