I'm relatively new to encoding, so please bear with me.
I have the box set of ds9, which i'm trying to rip directly to my hard drive, so that I can watch them without having to switch DVD's constantly.
Using robot4ripper (which came with Gordian Knot), i've extracted the .vob's & transcoded the .ac3 into .mp3 format.
I then run Gordian Knot, using Divx Pro v6.1 (with settings set for Extreme Quality), and on Gordian Knot's Bitrate tab, i've set the size for 1/2 CD (350mb).
I then Save & Encode, mux the .mp3 audio, and set it to rip.
It goes through the entire process, but the file ends up coming out ~ 1gb, instead of 350mb.
Can anyone suggest what I might be doing wrong?
Thank you in advance for any support.
