Cqan someone recomend a good audio splitter/joiner

I have a few cd's that are supposed to run continuously until the ned with no gaps but after every track I get a slight gap and then the music continues. I would like to rip these cd's and then join the tracks so that they do run continuously. I also have some music that I would like to take maybe 30 seconds out of to use on my mobile phone as a ringtone. If anybody knows of a good audio joiner and cutter please let me know.
It doesn't have to be freeware (although preferable).

Hi!I would like to rip these cd's and then join the tracks so that they do run continuously.I believe the NERO package provides the ability to create a CD with no delay between tracks...
