Error in Backup

I have been using DVD Decrypter to rip and burn backups for awhile and have recently switched to RipIt4Me and ImgBurn. Now I am experiencing a blocking/pixelation during playback. I have switched between Verbatim and a Fujifilm DL discs and will experience the blocking at the same point. I first thought that this was the media but could this be caused by a poor ISO burn?

Hi!Now I am experiencing a blocking/pixelation during playback.If you play the hard drive copy on your PC, does it also exhibit "blocking/pixelation" - or is the problem only observed when playing the burned DVD on a specific standalone player?

I finally got a DVD decoder for my computer and after playing both the ISO and the backup on my computer neither of them experienced blocking so I guess my problem is in my player. I recently played some of my backups that where created a while back and do not have these problems. Is there anything else that could be contributed to this problem expect for the player? I'm only asking because I am hoping that there is a different alternative to getting a new player although I don't believe that their is.

1) Stick with the Verbatim media - and try burning at a lower speed

2) Your burner and/or player may be in need of a cleaning. Maxell makes a DVD/CD cleaning disc that sells for approximately $10US
