Just wanted to thank all of those who provided information concerning DVD burning. I have successfully backed up several of my movies, some with full functional menus and others with just the movie itself.

Anybody have any idea when DVD+RW media will go down in price? What about this new DVD+R standard?

i am also interested in which standard i should choose a dvd burner for using it to burn actual dvd copies i have 3 dvd players one standalone and 2 computer drives both are cheap 50$ compusa dvs korea 1600h drives (16x dvd 48x cd rom) and they function just fine and they actually are quite fast, they even came with the full retail version of power dvd 3.0 my standalone wont play any kind of dvd r tho so i have to find one that does like an apex i think any comments would be appreciated
