Im getting some errors that i have not seen before. The title is the fun with dick and jane.

I ran it through ripit4me first. I demux by vobid because by pgc when it gets to correcting the audio i get a source damaged message, when i open scenaid i get ...

! Abnormal Cell Found (2 frames long 10min - PGC1 Cell11) - Dummy will be used in layout

There are 35 of these, some 2 frames, some 1 frame. After encoding i open the script in scenarist and i get ...

Error Scene duration shall be more than 0.4 second.

Error The number(2.0) of frame in a VOBU is less than 10.00 (around 00:00:00;00).
Warning Exiting is canceled because "ExitVobuSizeError" is 0 in the file Scenarist.ini.

35 of these as well i think, some 2.0 some 1.0.

I then get these errors towards the end (these errors i have seen before)

Warning The Prev Cell<VTS3_Title1_PGC1_PG1_C11> and the Current Cell<VTS3_Title1_PGC1_PG1_C12> are connected seamlessly and the Current Cell<VTS3_Title1_PGC1_PG1_C12> has only one VOBU.(PGC:<VTS3_Title1_PGC1> (Title:<VTS3_Title1> VTS:<VTS_3>) )
Warning Some DVD players have problems with this limitation.

About 35 again...

Once finished though i get a audio sync problem and subs not showing up even they they was imported. Scenaid is set to add silence on vobid demux.

Anyone have any ideas with this title ?? i dont want to be defeated by it and give up

Sounds like when you ripped it with "RipIt4Me" you didn't use the additional "cleanup" steps (3B and what used to be FixVTS, prior to v.1.7).

I'd suggest you try re-ripping with "RipIt4Me" v.1.6.4 and include all steps in "Wizard" mode...

I used ripit4me 1.7.1.0 and done the cleanup option in wizard mode.

In the future, would you make sure your thread title indicates what title it is you're experiencing problems with? Otherwise it has the potential of being missed upon first glance by people that may have experienced the exact same problem.

My bad, noted for in the future

I specifically suggested using v.1.6.4 because it's been my experience that 1.6.4 was the last "stable" version...

I'll give that version a try then.... 1.7.1.0 has worked fine up untill now though.

I've found that on a couple of DVDs, I've had to re-process the DVD in PCGEdit and the FixVTS plugin. What I do is load the movie into PCGEdit, then under plugins, choose PSL2 and then advanced settings. I usually try all of the options, find unreferenced titlesets/titles, and then remove crap. Usually it finds some protection on the main movie, then after selecting the remove crap option, a screen opens up showing all of the segments of the movie. You can right click on each to preview, and then you check the ones you want to remove. Basically you want to remove any that appear to be blank at the beginning or end of the movie. Then after that run FixVTS on the current VTS and it should work.

Hope that makes some sense

@Angelus

Hi!

What you've described is precisely what's done during "Step 3B" and "FixVTS" procedure in RipIt4me v.1.6.4...

Exactly, but for whatever reason if I run the PSL2 plugin in PCGEdit AFTER running RI4M, there are some discs that detected structure protection. After processing it again it seemed to have cleaned the protection finally. The main reason I found this was that some movies I did with this structure protection would have insane audio and sub delays after using DIF4U...afterwards such delays were gone

I have now tried ripit4me 1.6.4 with fixvts 1.602 but i still get the same errors in scenaid.

I recall starting this title before and i didn't get these errors but i can't remember which version of ripit4me and fixvts i used. This was before the sub delay fixer so i deleted it. Didn't have those errors and the audio was in sync.

I never found a decent way around the stupid arccos stuff..

The .4sec errors though aren't from the dummy cells.. those use stills and create "slide shows" / stills.

the scenarist.log should show exactly where the error was on import

Haven't got the scenarist.log, if only i could remember which version's of fixvts and ripit4me i used last time when i didn't get these errors in scenaid and scenarist.
