Maybe it is just too late and I dont see the most obvious.

There are tons of posts around talking about adding delay to AAC stream in YAMB - cant find it anywhere.

both the video and audio streams get added from the first screen, there are no prompts of any kind, no options that i can find to add it.

thus far I started working with delaycut (which seems to do the job) but I'm dumbstruck as to where could i possibly set it in YAMB.

If anyone can help - big thanks; to everyone else - sorry to waste your bits with this message.

I assume you are using Yamb Version 2. After adding your media streams into yamb, select the desired mediastream, (i.e. example_audio.mp4), on the right side of the yamb window, there is a button called "Properties", click on it, the properties dialog will open and you can enter the desired delay, (in milliseconds I assume), into the "Mediadelay" field.

The same procedure also works for the videostream, where you can change things like the pixelaspectratio, (very useful).

I was using 1.6 (which in the "changes" lists "negative delay"....) I just cant find the damn button ::)

In Options tab, you have to check "Enable Import Settings".
