Hi all,
I'm trying to rip Lost Season 2, but I'm having issues getting the video and audio to match up correctly. The video is about 10 seconds longer than the audio, yet the audio seems to playback at a faster speed (the voices are higher pitched).

I'm using DVDDecrypter to rip it in IFO mode. The length of each PGC is the length of the audio track of the episode. But the video track is 10 seconds longer. I've tried removing random cells (like from http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=116439&highlight=lost+season+two) but it still hasn't worked out.

Has anybody else encountered this and fixed it?

Hi!

I believe this is a Disney release. As such, it likely contains a version of "RipGuard" copy protection. Try the following:

1) Rip using DVD Decrypter v.3.5.4 in "File" mode (select "ALL" files, NOT "movie" files) and

2) Load the rip into VOBBlanker, set a new output directory/folder, select "Process all" and then press the "Process" radiobutton

Sorry for the late reply. That helped, but only a little. The files are still different lengths (the video is 3 seconds longer than the audio file), and when I make the XviD, the sound still doesn't sync right. I could be using VOBBlanker wrong. But the VOBs it outputs are a little smaller than the original VOBs.

You can demux the audio track from your XviD, stretch it with an audio editor like Adobe Audition or Audacity to fit the video length, then mux again.

Thanks REECYCUP,

So you had to choose the start and stop frames manually?
