SSRC temp file

are there any programmers out there who can look at the SSRC souce code and tell me what I'd need to change in order to set the temp file to a different drive or even make an option to set the path for it ? I need to do twopass resampling but my c: drive has less than 1Gig free whereas my e: drive has 3Gig free. Would anyone also know if the source can be compiled with Borland C++ 4.5/5 or Builder 3/4 or Visual C 6? which would be he best to use ?
Any help would be great. Just thought it be useful if it's do-able...
Thanks

... use BeSweet with modified SSRC.dll , no intermediate WAV files, on-the-fly sampling rate conversion ....

I could do, but the point was that I need to use twopass to avoid clipping otherwise I'd just use SSRC.
As reguards to the source file, I think it has something to so with the function 'fpt'

through a bit of experimenting i have found out that the temp file is created in the root of the drive the command is called from, eg if called from drive d: the temp file is made in drive d:, if only this could be worked in to DVD2SVCD....

dvd2svcd would be using BeSweet for all audio processing, starting the next version.
check the readme file on http://dvd2svcd.doom9.net .

plus dvd2svcd is actually not doing a 2nd ssrc pass anymore because it's useless

it might be useless. but after encoding the audio to American Beauty with SSCR in a single pass there was clipping all the way through it. I had to go back and redo the audio using the internal routine set at ultra high.
If anyone reads this and has an explanation could you explain how come on the last two versions of DVD2SVCD (1.0.4 throu 1.0.5) my CCE encoding is running at under 50% of what it was with the builds of 1.0.2 and 1.0.3 ? is this due to the bug fix of build 1.0.4b1 : "Fixed the CCE settings bug. The settings of Linear quantizer scale, Zigzag scanning order, Upper field first and Progressive frames was not transferred to CCE, sorry. (Thanks to Ruben for pointing this out.)", as now a to hour film takes over a day on my humble duron 900 (512MB Ram) as opposed to overnight. I stress that the set up is the same (thanks to Ghost 2001) and nothing extra is running. CCE is clocking at about 0.25 - .29 RT whereas before it has getting up to 0.62 or so. A final question, what speed improvement would the athlon 1.4 give as this is the fastest chip my board will take ?
Thanks.
