Help with dvd shrink/nero [Archive]

Okay, I am trying to burn a few different movies but its not working. I decrypt with dvd decryptor and its fine then I use daemon tools to mount, that's works, then i go to dvd shrink and back up which works, but then when its backed up and ready to burn with nero it comes back burn process failed at 4X
WHAT IS GOING WRONG???

Firmware is a little old and so it the update, 1I24 from here... http://tdb.rpc1.org/#GWA4166B

DMA needs to be enabled.

Try some nice Verbatim discs...these Memorex or whatever the Cmag flavor of the month is are less than desireable, some people have no issues with them but I'd try something else.

how do I enable the DMA, is it through shrink? and the disks have been working fine? so I'll fix the other stuff first. I downloaded the firmware and saved it but??? i'm a newbie and not sure what to do with it now? thanks for trying to help, I'll learn eventually :)

Fix your DMA (http://forum.digital-digest.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=44808).

Read the readme in the firmware update. Ensure there is no disk in the drive. Run the firmware update. Reboot. But follow the readme - oftentimes, they like to have the drive set as secondary master.
