Are spec of these formats publicly available?

I'm not into these forums for a while so please forgive me if the information can be easily found from the forum... (at least there're no sticky FAQ there...)

Are spec of these formats publicly available?

* RealMedia File format as in .rm, .rmvb, etc.
* Flash Video File format as in .flv

Or, are there free demuxing tool that can extract the video and audio parts from these file formats?
