Hi, new to the forum--using it, not reading it--I'm using shrink and dvdcopy with much regular success, however, i sometimes get a message--cyclic redundancy check, what is this, why does it hinder me from completing the task at hand, how do i fix it? Any ideas? thanks! HIscotty

it means the DVD had a read error. Usually this means a bum disc, but sometimes a dying drive.

@HIscotty
Hi!
A CRC error indicates that there's either a problem with the physical DVD (scratched, dirty, Peanut Butter and Jelly) - or an older version of "ARccOS" copy protection, that DVD Shrink cannot resolve.
