winfast PVR2000 sound problems

upgraded to Latest Winfast PVR and now the sound does not work, have played with the settings with no result... upon opening the program the sound works for a brief second then disappears, am able to hear sound while in time shift, also updated to latest driver PVR2000-6115VistaWHQL.zip the link I clicked on was for the XP driver .. however this driver says vista in the name ... also used their driver uninstaller before upgrading the driver .. all seems well in the system ..

Sounds works through S-Video .. which is strange as it's the same input for the sound .. could this be a driver problem ?

Deleted the old drivers as I've never had a problem with updated drivers from leadtek .. but have now .,.. used a 3 month old image of this system to restore it to before driver update .. uninstalled pvr software but left old driver .. all works fine now ..
