I am looking to use video filters from virtual dub or any other compatible filters in Gordian Knot. My encodes always look like crap and I am trying to make them look like scene encodes... but I never ever get the quality right. When I write to the AVS file it doesn't always work, sometimes it says at the second pass that the file is still in use.. how do I get around that one?
If needed I can post qual shots, and presets of Gordian Knot.
I usually use IVTC and am doing animation rips so I am using the cartoon setting in the first and second pass options.
What am I doing wrong to get such low qual encodes?
When I do a compress test from a over 700mb vob to a 175mb XviD I get around 20-30% each episode is around 22mins long.
Of course any help is very much appreciated!
