Hi !

I have tried to encode The Cell with DTS but it doesnt work.

i have made all steps like for "normal" AC3 but i took ever the *.dts file

GordianKnot stopped at audiomuxing

Does exist any way to make Divx Films with DTS ?

(sorry for my english but i hope you understand what i mean)

take a minute and think about what you're trying to do: dts tracks have a bitrate of 768kbit at least (I think they go up to like 1mbit) so your audio track will use as much bitrate as an average 1CD DivX movie uses for the video.. so either you'll just use almost twice as much CDs as normal or the video quality will be extremely poor.
no program exists that could mux dts and divx.. and if you read what I just wrote again you should know why.

hmm i make never less than 2 cd rips
and The Cell with DTS has still over 1000 kbit/s

the DTS Track was only 200MB bigger than AC3

soo do i right understand ? there is no program what can mix divx and dts ?

Oho....Something interesting here...
I remember there were people asking for the good program that can deal with dts tracks (I mean rip it like azid with ac3 tracks do). I know of one - DVDtoMP3 from Orion Studios which sucks and is full of bugs.
Do you know any other????
take care

- dts bitrate varies from 1.2mbps to 1.8mbps. (that's, at least, what i knOw).
- DVDtoMP3 doesn't have a built-in DTS decoder.

Since DTS tracks are not authored to be downmixed, it is not a good thing to try it...

Let me know if you got it!
I want DTS as well in direct stream copy!
Doesn`t matter if I have to take a third CD to make a high-quality-Rip.
