sorry for the newbie question, but i couldn't find the answer anywhere.
i try to copy a movie to a vhs, and i need to make it mono.
is there a way to transfer the divx stereo movie to mono, or only to play it as mono?

you may extract audio, recompress as mono-mp3 and remux... but why don't you just record it as it is?

cause i can plug only left or right audio to my vcr, and i fear that i might loose somthing if the movie is in stereo.

i guess if you play the file mono, both channels will be put to the mono stream, so this should be no prob...

why not by a Y-plug to connect your stereo output to your mono input ? i'm sure Radio Shack or where ever can help you out !
