Hi frome Rome
I've tried to install scenarist 3.1 on Vista Business but the simulation windows crashed down with the same error code every time "access violation.... 0x33c206AA..."
Anyone have a workaround?
:thanks:

Speak to Sonic about when they are going to support Vista. They may already have an update for it. I'd personally stick to Win XP if you can.

yes, go to setup's properties page, set xp sp2 compatibility mode, it should install, then proceed to do the same for the all exectuables it installs, and set them to run as admin mode.

Anything this easy is worth a shot, but I should advise you that the compatibility mode offered by Windows is of little real use. All it does is report a different Windows version number to the program, while this will allow legacy setup programs to run, supressing messages like "This was not designed for your version of windows", it won't do anything to stop more serious crashes and library incompatibilities.
Admin mode, however, can really help you out... Programs can run in some kind of crippled non-admin mode without you knowing with unpredictable results.
I dislike Vista the more I use it... ITS MY PC STOP TELLING ME 'I CAN'T'.
