480x480 to DVD

I have some captured movies that are 480 x 480. What is a quick easy tool to convert them to 720 x 480 or something that will work on a DVD?

Wow, I was looking at that on my puter today but then used AutoGK instead. AutoGK works but takes forever. Sorry for my double post.

Do you want to make a DVD or anything that will work on a DVD player? If you just want to watch the disc, surely you know that 480x480 is valid for SVCD and many DVD players (but NOT all) will play such discs. If you want to convert to DVD format, AutoGK won't help you with that. http://www.dvdrhelp.com has a very good Guides section that tells how to convert from one format to another. In your case, I'd look for a guide on converting from SVCD to something else.

Thanks for the advice, I would have called it my driver but I feared confusing someone and the last time I had a wedgie was not a pretty picture. What do you call yours?

DVD Flick worked fine and I was able to add chapters and menu's with Author.

Problem.. I noticed jittery picture during action scenes or when the camera pan's quickly. I am buring the VOB files from DVD Flick to a disc now to see if it is DVD Flick or Author causing thie problem.

Never mind, I found a NTCS Film setting in DVD Flick so I am running that now. I bet that is the problem. Anyone ever use this software http://www.svcd2dvd.com/ ? I am thinking of giving it a demo.

patch the mpeg to 720x480, then author it. before you click the final button to mux it all. repatch it back to 480x480. this is the svcd trick top put on dvd. no reencoding required. you'll save space and quality.

DVDlab is a DVD authoring tool that can do it without the need of DVDPatcher. However since 480x480 not is supported in the DVD format you may have problems playing such DVD on some standalone players.
