A disc i was ment to do ages back but never got a chance to do im doing now. The title in question is fun with dick and jane, last time i got stuck with a sub sync issue but now i have the sub delay fixer that Trahald done im hoping to sort it out.

Now i have followed the same way as i did before ripit4me > iso > dif4u > scenaid. Now i have done it by Vobid again like last time, the reason being if you try it by pgc when dif4u gets to the point of correcting audio i get a source damaged error but dont on a vobid demux. Now last time everything went well except the subs but the problem comes here...

Trahald said with the sub fixer you input the delay time thats in the audio tracks file name but the delay i have in the name is [0ms], now do i just use o in the sub correcter of not ?? but on the other hand as scenaid is set to add silence to the beginning of a track on vobid it added 12720ms so do i instead use 12720ms in the sub fixer??

I would try to use that number of ms that Scenaid added of silence. One method that I found worked pretty good is to play the original DVD and write down the exact time that the FIRST subtitle plays at. Then all you have to do is convert that time to ms and then input that into the Subtitle Delay Fixer. Afterwards the subs might be off by 1/2 second or so but you can use jeanl's DVDSubEdit to fix that problem.

Edit: Probably an easier way would just to leave the subs as is, compile in Scenarist and then use DVDSubEdit to fix the subtitle start time.
