Is anyone else having problem with EclPRO minimizing ProCoder2 when encoding? I know that it used to work but since the newest version I can't get it to work.

All the time. It will minimise one instance but the other remains maxxed.

So I guess it's not me doing something wrong. Although I don't exactly understand what you mean when you say "minimise one instance but the other remains maxxed."

If you have multiple encoder processes.

That’s what I figured you meant. I'm still using a single core, therefore I'm not using multiple encoder processes. Do you have any problems with Procoder2 minimizing when using a single encoder?

Haven't tested that actually since I always use 2. I'll revert tomorrow - late here. 'night.

I 'sort-of' have a problem on my single-core machine. ProCoder 2 gets minimized by EclPRO, but the ProCoder 2 encoding window can't be brought into focus, if I want to see the progress of my segments. I'm not sure it's an EclPRO thing though.

Is this a problem within ECLPRO, or DVD-RB? Just wondering if anyone has tried to run more than one instance outside of DVD-RB to see whether it will work...

@Rack04
Check in the eclpro.ini if you have set minimize=1.
It's needed to run Procoder minimized.
@kumi
To maximize the window again, try with right-click on the Procoder icon in the taskbar, and select "restore"
@jdobbs
I haven't tested, but I think DVD-RB is ok. I will try to fix it.

That was it. I thought this was default minimize=1. I'll run a test but I'm sure this will solve my problem.

I have always had minimize=1 Seems like one instance of Procoder minimises OK but the other likes to stay on screen.
Don't think it is an RB problem.

This is a test build which shoulde solve the minimize problem for multiple instances.
Please, report back your results.

Works fine!! Thank you!
The only issue (and it is hardly worth mentioning) is that to restore/maximise the instances of Procoder 2, you need to right click on the Procoder button on the taskbar and select maximise (instead of just left clicking on the taskbar button).
Thanks again, robot1.

Jdobbs,
Is this minimize=1 supposed to be default in the DVD-RB installation encoder setup?

Since DVD-RB doesn't include ProCoder as a part of it's setup, the ECLPRO settings aren't established until you run ECLPRO the first time and link it to ProCoder. So... there really is no default.

@rack04 -did the new version work for you, too?

I haven't tried the new version yet. The problem I had was that I assumed that minimize=1 was default. When I check mine it was set to minimize=0.
