How would one get a video file such as, "feature.VC-1.stream.0" which is a mpv file type, that was ripped and demuxed from an HD-DVD, into a Sonic Scenarist Advanced Content Authoring project.

I know all you do is drag in the media files you wish into the palette in the top left corner of the workspace, it supports .mpv, .mpv2, .mpg, and many other formats, so is being done seems correct.

Yet, the following error occurs once the attempt to either drag, or import the supported .mpv file happens.

"runtime error: invalid vector<T> subscript -3"

Then it cancels the import.

If one simply would like to create a project and import assets from ripped media, how would that occur?

Is the mui generator needed for ripped files? In saca or just HDMV?

There is no problem ripping nor muxing at this point, that is another thread elsewhere, this is simply the question of making the project happen once assets are already saved.

Is it neccesary to run the cinevision encoder through the muxed files?

This is a serious beginner question to get the ball rolling. Thanks a millions!

Quesion #2 - What other files off the rip and demux can one use, such as interactive pop up menus and thier image assets? Sub pictures? Audio, and how can one utilize these in a SACA or HDMV project,

I guess Re-HD-DVD-Authoring would be the best Title for this post.

Rename the .mpv to .vc1 and it will import fine.

Apparently Scenarist ACA recognizes the file according to its extenesion. so MPV would indicate MPEG Video, while it's actually VC1.

Okay how would one go about getting audio into a project, assuming its decrpyted and muxed just fine,

how could you encode audio?

After ripping, all that is saved from the audio are

name.DD+.stream.01 files, which are really just .DD+ extensions,

though the type is read as a movie clip, and these are not even able to import into SACA, any way to convert these to a file that saca would accept?
