Hello,
its been days now that i'm trying to convert my precious mkv file to a dvd.
The thing is that i succeeded but i'm confronted to the "horizontal" lines problem (i know there's a technical term but since i'm not sure of wich is it i rather not use it).
The original mkv file never shows such troubles when i'm viewing it.
Here is an image capture of the line problem (on powerdvd):

I converted it using ConvertX2DVD.
I also tested the "de-interleave" encoding option available on convertx2dvd, but instead of having the "lines problem" i lose sharpness on all the image, "aliasing" i think its called.
Here are the technicals details of the mkv video source:
Container: MKV
Video: R2DVD 720x480 MPEG2 (16:9 AR)
Audio: Japanese Dolby Digital 5.1 448kbps
Subtitles: English SSA
Total Size: 6.06GiB
Checksums:
CRC: 10AFBBF7
MD5: ca015214cf832b243cc8a0eece2b9e24
Thanks a lot
