Hi,

I'm new here and trying to play a *.ts (Transport Stream?) file with the following attributes:

Video Codec: VC-1
Audio Streams: - DTS
- Dolby Digital Plus

I have already tried ZoomPlayer, WMP11, Media Player Classic, WinDVD 8 Platinum (Demo) and VLC Media Player, but only Media Player Classic is able to play something (Audio only).

How can I play this file?
And how can I recode the file to DivX/XviD?

Are you absolutely sure it's VC-1? It seems odd that Media Player Classic is only able to play the audio, since if you have WMP11, the VC-1 codec would decode it.

yes i'm sure, ebcause i tried "TSRemux" and this program showed me a VC-1 video stream..

the stream is ripped off a HD-DVD

also TSRemux says:

DTCP Descriptor not present
Video Lenght: 00:00
Warning: No PCR's available
File Format: TS (188 Byte packets)

Edit:
dammit... Just tried to remux the file so that only the video stream would rest, but TSRemux hangs..

By the way:
WMP11 doesnt even play the audio :-(

hey cool, I finally made it!

I've installed Matroska Splitter and now it works with ZoomPlayer.

But my next question is: How can I put several TS files together so I get ONE file at the end?
And how can I then add or replace Audio Streams?

I need to change the audio tracks

Adding transport streams so that you get one file: try this:
copy /b "file1.ts+file2.ts+file3.ts" file.ts

Adding or replacing audio streams: try TSRemux, if not, no idea. Sorry!

How did you do the conversion between program stream and transport stream? HD-DVD's have program streams and you said that this is a transport stream. When properly converting PS to TS, SCRs are converted to PCRs. If TsRemux says that there are no PCRs in the TS then the PS to TS conversion was incorrect.
