Hi, i have my dvd already finished authored, but now i noticed, that when i play it on my dvd player, i cant see on which button i am :(
I made a screenshot from a dvd Main Menu where the text for the buttons is already there, and used it in dvdlab pro to create my menu with the links. All Links work like i want hem to work, but i cant see which button is selected!
So how can i do that without changing too much ?
Edit: I have also the original DVD here, and when i go on a menu button there, it gets light blus! How can i copy that to mine?

Hi Penecho!
To copy the menu background is not enough. You need the text as an object to get it highlighted when selected. Since it is very difficult to place a new text object over an existing background, you can go the easy way and use an underline or a frame around the background text for the highlight.
In the menu properties choose "invisible normal" for the added objects. Also the color and opacity of the highlight is changeable here.
Another option is to extract the original menu subpicture with SubRip and load it into DVDLab as external subpicture. Then you can use the "group hotspot" tool for creating the links.

- Use the "Rectangle" tool on the left side to draw an underline object. (color doesn't matter)
- Do the same for all buttons.
- Set the color map and opacity as you prefer. (menu properties)
- Set the "Button Visibility" to "Invisible Normal". (menu properties)
- Use the "Group Hotspot" tool to make a frame around the text and the underline of every button.
- Set the related links to the group hotspots. (right mouse button)
The internal help of DVDLab is really helpful. Did you read it?
