View Full Version : Streaming Video but bypassing Encoding?...

I've been following this forum since about March - mainly focusing on converting HD-DVDs to WMV so I could stream via my XBOX360 or Helios Media player.

This encoding process has been very time consuming in creating these files but I didn't know if there was another way.

I can create a .GRF file in Graph Edit and an .AVS file which can be viewed by WM Player directly. Is there a way to stream this .avs file or similar format instead of encoding?

Here are the formats compatible with the media server I use, wizdXP: avi, mpg, mpeg, hnl, nuv, vob, vro, ts, tp m2t, mov, wmv, asf, divx, mp4, iso, img files.

Edit: was screwing around with WM ASF writer and found out that my player only supports WMV9. Didn't know if ASF was a basis for the solution I seek.
