I'm trying to get a divx to play on Mac OS X. I have the DivX 4.12 decoder installed. The video plays fine, but there is no audio. The audio is MP3. Is there anything special I have to do to get the it to work?

like it says on divx.com in the forums and probably in the readme file, Quicktime has problems reading AVIs with mp3 audio so you gotta use a tool to "fix" the DivX before it can be properly played. Something like DivX Doctor will work for OS9, and I'm almost positive there are similar programs for X. I believe one is called getmp3, but feel free to read up on things at divx.com before asking any more questions, i'm sure you'll find the answer.
