i am making a divx from an anime dvd, and there is lots of interlacing during movement. i heard that Gknot cant do interlacing or something (maybe it was IVTC)...but when i set the avs file to interlace...it gets mad at me about less frames. if i can eliminate the interlacing, will the extra bitrate be given to the remaining frames? or is there an easier way to de-interlace the film? an added note, the dvd2avi says its at 33/66 NTSC/FILM, but i had force film on, with rgb color...can anyone help?

also..when i am trying to get the subtitiles (vobsub plugin from Gknot), there is an error: "Cannot read, either locked DVD or trunated/missing files" ???? whats going on here? and how can it be fixed?

Hi-too many uneducated questions. Go to the guides section and look up the DivX 3.11/GKnot Guide or the DivX 4.xx/GKnot Guide (take your pick). Then read them 3 or 4 times, and come back after you've learned a bit. I don't mean to be rude, but you haven't researched/read anything yet, or if you have, you haven't absorbed it. Pay special attention to anything you can find about IVTC.
