Hi the reason i ask is that i have a few WMVHD files and would like them to be play like a dvd on my xbox 360 HD-DVD add on!
I can burn it as a media file and use it in the main 360 drive as a file but i don`t like the way you fast forward and rewind with the media player, so i have a few questions.
(1)How are HD-DVD`s structuted is it like a dvd with video folders etc
(2)Do WMVHD discs boot like dvds as i have seen feature films for sale in this format but i`m not sure wether you just play them on your pc
(3)If they do boot do you need a different program to make a WMVHD-DVD as i thought DVD`s and HD-DVD`s used the mpeg format.
By the way i have burnt many standard dvd`s so have a little knowlerdge and i`m using Dual Layer DVD`s and my files are between6-7GB.
Many Thanks
Borley

It's totally different format. I was experimenting how to do these discs about two years ago before HD-DVDs came out. You can do them manually but is a pain and requires knowledge in programming.

Then again Sonic released "Producer" that does the WMVHD wonderfully but I never got around the program to try it.

For more information go to www.microsoft.com then search WMVHD. They have a link and examples how to do your own discs. You will need to encode them first, I used TMPGEnc 4, works good but it takes forever.
