MKV(x264/AC3) to TS, is it possible without jumping through hoops?

So I am trying desperately to get MKV -> TS scripted, but I cannot do it for the life of me. I really want this because I have hundreds of MKV files, but my set-top player (Netgear EVA8000) doesn't support MKV, but it does to TS just fine. So I want to just remux my MKV->TS without any transcoding so that it will be fast.

I've read all over these forums and used google, but no one has really had a definitive answer as of yet. So far I'm using mkvextract to grab the .264 and the .ac3 file out of the MKV, but now I need to mux the two into a TS. What app can do this, ideally that is CLI?

Mencoder with -ovc copy and -oac copy should be able to do it.

Can you explain that with some details please. I found WME Assistant to work well for encoding in WMV HD, however, it costs money and takes forever.
