Hi,
I apologize in advance if this topic has already been covered. I spent about 15 mins searching but uncovered nothing substantial (TV isn't a searchable term either).
I'm wondering how well one can notice differences in quantization matrices, encoded resolution, bitrates and such on a good widescreen TV (50" or wider) watching at some distance that is appropriate to the size of the TV set. I don't have one myself so I can't test it out.
Has someone done any research in this and have some data to share?
Thanks
