Can I encode from WAV file to WMA9 Lossless format under Windows 98 SE ? Thanks for any answers

Nope. Not as far as I'm aware. Why would you still be using 98 anyway? :D

Before I go on.. Why would you want to use WMA lossless when you can use FLAC :confused:

... anyways, if you are willing to take the chance of killing your win98 install, you might be able to extract the wmfdist9 installer and attempt to install the components manually (this kind of thing would probably require extensive registry tweaking). I think you would run into (lack of) unicode issues and things would probably crash. (I have never, and will never try this, but I think it is your only chance at it)
