Quality Rating vs. Bit Rate

Hear is a question I am interested in. Does anyone know the relationship between Quality Rating and Bit Rate?

Example: 85% quality = ? Bit Rate

There is no fixed relationship, the average bitrate you get when using fixed quality (quantizer) mode depends on your source and the resolution.
For the same source and resolution, the higher the quality, the higher the achieved bitrate (of course)

I did not think there was a 1 to 1 relationship. I was just wondering if anybody had did a study to find a rough estimate for the same piece of film.
